My work explores a world of the impossible, the improbable, and the incongruous.

Using paint and ink, I create "visual improvisations" that reimagine everyday scenarios with a touch of humour.

Drawing inspiration from the precision of Escher and the communal spirit of Lowry, these studies often hide the saxophone within surreal landscapes. Vibrant orange accents represent the "voice" of the music—fluid, messy, and full of life. It’s an extension of the same breath and discipline that drives my music.

When I’m not playing or painting, my inspirations come from the simple pleasures of reading and gardening.

Would you cross the rope bridge? Double perspective makes it a challenge for all.
A precarious rope bridge stretches between two slender masts, serving as a high-altitude thoroughfare for various travellers. Below, a lone figure serenades the ground-dwellers with a saxophone, his music drifting up toward the suspended walkway.

The Hanging
Surreal ink drawing where saxophones and toilets combine
A silhouetted figure sits back and contemplates a monumental drawing of a saxophone. From the instrument's bell, a single vibrant orange balloon bobs upward, a solitary pop of colour against the monochrome sketch.
