Cygnet Duo offers a captivating listening experience and an entertaining visual performance. Featuring Diane Arthurs on saxophones, flute, and vocals, alongside either Emma Breese or Chris Keir on piano, the duo delivers spontaneous musical interaction. Their ability to engage the audience while playing is truly thrilling. I feel incredibly fortunate to collaborate with of these exceptional jazz pianists.
Cygnet Duo is not your typical jazz band.
With an eclectic mix of styles and tastes, we tailor our performances to fit the mood and occasion perfectly.
Featuring tenor and baritone saxophones, flute, and vocals, we deliver soothing swing ballads, lively classics from the Great American Songbook, a touch of bebop, and various groove-driven pieces from artists like Grover Washington and Cannonball Adderley. Our Latin repertoire is just as diverse, showcasing popular styles such as Bossa Nova and Mambo, among others.

Great Witcombe’s ‘Jazz and Picnic in the Park’ fund-raising event: The Cygnet Duo entertained us with a wonderful variety of music, including “Lullaby of Birdland”, “My Little Suede Shoes”, “Flamingo”, “Somebody Loves Me” and “Take the A Train”. The duo played flute, tenor saxophone, baritone saxophone and sang beautifully. We will definitely invite them again next year.
